Hello all,  we are looking for rice coal in the b
Bangor area, we have been using wood pellets for the past 2 year and are looking to switch over to rice coal
Anthracite  from PA.
someone told me that rice coal is about 1.00 per gallon if you compare it with oil??
Any info would be great..

We are looking at the automatic boiler unit with a 5 ton box and auger set-up

Dysart's is carrying bagged Reading coal. I've been burning their pea and nut coal, very inconsistent, but my hand-fired Harmon doesn't care. They accidently gave me a ton of rice coal (and came to my house to swap it for what I wanted). They usually don't sell less than a full pallet, but if you give them a call they might have individual bags left from my botched order so you can try them.

I'm a happy customer, but now I fondle the top bag on the pallet before I let them load it on the trailer. So far they haven't given me any strange looks...
